Harmondsworth Barn

(source)
Right by Heathrow Airport, J and I checked out the Harmondsworth Barn on Sunday.  Unfortunately we were unable to get inside to see this spectacular view of "the largest timber-framed building in England and is regarded as an outstanding example of medieval craftsmanship."  It is truly massive from the outside as well, stretching 60 metres.

It was built in the early 15th century.  As in, this barn that I saw on Sunday is older than CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS.

Really really sweet. I did not watch the Super Bowl, mostly because I didn't care but secondarily because it would show at 2am here.  I went on this blog to look at the best ads and No. 1 was blocked because of country copyright laws.  Lame.
