I’m looking forward
to having my own kitchen
and never cleaning it.
But rather
letting it get dirty
and grimy and gray.
So that once in awhile
I look, in panic
at my stovetop
all covered
in little bits
of my past
foods. All
varieties and color,
and new found
textures. Now
that they’ve lived
longer than
expected when
they were first made.
