I feel like this needs no comment.

  1. When you become a parent, you'll learn that many of your "I'll never do that" comments and judgements in the past get blown away.

This couple has their hands full - at least one child in a stroller and two little ones, and they're entering a STORE. Rather than sticking their son into a confining shopping cart, they're giving him freedom to explore PLUS knowing that they won't loose him.

Be kind to those parents. It's quite possible this little one will bolt and be out of sight in an instant and this is the best way to not lose him.

I probably would have viewed this the same as you do before I became a mother.

  3. I would definitely have to agree with Anonymous in saying that, when you become a parent you do many things that you swore you would never do...

  5. Does that exploration extend to the bathroom. Listen, I have 2 kids and I don't give a hoot if they ever explore a target or a public restroom. I'll keep my kids in the stroller or close to me.
We like to do our exploring at the park!

  6. I LOVE the leash for toddlers. My theory is to keep your dog from running in the street, you put a leash on. Why not want to protect your CHILD the very same way. I have a leash for each of my 2 kids, and I will use them. If you don't like it, don't look at me or my kids.

  7. I love your comment anonymous from 822pm, if you dont like it, dont look at me or my kids!!!! Like i posted on the shine comment on how :leashes" are mean, i noticed the pic was of a mom w/ twins, I want to see all mothers try to go in public by yourself with a set of twins or children around the same toddler age and see what happens if you dont confine them to a carriage or something...all I have to say is YAY to the person who helps me keep my twins safe when I am out in public I also would like to say to everyone who hates them or disbelieves in them is try it one day with a set of twins, etc.... all I have to say is GOOD LUCK and I hopoe u find your kids!!!!!

  8. I agree with the leash. I have 2 kids, my son is 6 and my daughter is 15 months. My son was an angel when he was out with us, I had no problem with him staying by me and not running off, but my daughter is a totally different person. She will take off in a heart beat...plus my mother-in-law takes care of her during the day, and the leash helps her to keep her close.
So once you are a parent you will understand why the leash is a good idea....
